Patriot Republican Center of Sports and Patriotic Training and Preliminary Military Training was established on April 24, 2007 by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The founder is Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan. The facilities’ area is 10,700 m2, territory – 2.8 ha.
For the last year the Center succeed to become a mediate in the system of sports patriotic training of youth in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the state program of patriotic education of the Russian Federation citizens, Republican complex program of patriotic education of children and youth of Republic of Tatarstan and the Articles of Association of the Organisation. Patriot center works on creation of mechanism ensuring formation and development of socially important values, civic mindedness and patriotism in the process of education and training in educational institutions of all types; mass patriotic work, organised and performed by the state structures, social movements and organisations.
Today Patriot center is the equipped training units (units of medical training, computer unit and unit of military service fundamentals), museum of searching movement, universal hall for 600 persons, bedroom for 550 persons, dining room for 450 persons, conference hall for 60 persons, gym, electronic shooting gallery, mini-football, volleyball and streetball grounds with artificial turf, climbing wall, barrier line, training tactical ground, museum of searching movement of the Republic of Tatarstan and exposition of patronage over the submarine fleet of Russia. Number of events held at the Center and outside it grows annually. Main of them are: military sports competitions, forums, festivals and patriotic games for cadet schools, military patriotic clubs, searching units of the Republic of Tatarstan; All-Russian campaignGeorgian Ribbon and Republican campaigns Draftee’s Day, Hour of Civic Mindedness and Patriotism, I am a citizen of Russia, courses of advanced training of the leaders of patriotic clubs, specialists of municipal units, instructors and officers training for implementation of the programs of field trainings etc.
The Center performs interdepartment interaction with all structures of state and municipal power of the republic, with public organisations. On the ground of the agreement between the Center and DOSAAF (Volunteer Society of Assistance of Army, Aircraft and Fleet) Public State Association of the Republic of Tatarstan from 2011 young men have been trained in military registration specialties with application of material technical facilities of the Center.
